Water Softeners installation, maintenance & repairs

your home

If you’re experiencing hard water in your home, it may be time to consider a water softener. Water softeners work by exchanging magnesium and calcium ions in hard water with sodium or potassium ions. This process makes hard water softer and more manageable, making it ideal for household use.

your market

If you’re in the market for a new water softener, It’s Plumbing can provide state-of-the-art diagnostic testing to find out the model and type of water softener your home needs. What’s important for your home is finding out your water softening needs on a weekly basis, and finding a unit with the appropriate grain capacity—or how much water a unit can soften until it needs regeneration.

Water Filter Systems

There are a few different types of water filter systems that you can choose from, depending on your needs. The most common type is the whole house water filter system, which is designed to purify all the water coming into your home. These systems usually consist of a pre-filter and a carbon filter, which work together to remove impurities from your water.

Another type of water filter system is the point-of-use (POU) system, which is designed to purify water at a specific tap or faucet. These systems are usually smaller and less expensive than whole house systems, but they only treat the water that comes out of the tap or faucet where they’re installed.

A third type of water filter system is the reverse osmosis (RO) system, which is designed to remove impurities by forcing water through a semipermeable membrane. RO systems can be used for whole house or POU applications, but they’re usually more expensive than other types of systems.

No matter which type of water filter system you need, It’s Plumbing can help you with the selection, installation and maintenance of your system.
